Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur , celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm. It was celebrated throughout the week due to Mother’s Day falling on Sunday.
The students, put up a special assembly to honor all the mothers and grandmothers. They sang song on the importance of mothers in our lives. Students made various creative gifts cupcake flowers, bouquets, handbags to name a few. Junior Students recited poems and performed dance also. They made beautiful greeting cards for their mothers.
Ms. Rashmi Raffi, Principal MCZ, explained the ability of super moms to handle a variety of demands being thrown at them in quick succession. She extended her greetings to all mothers and educators and also addressed the topic of women’s empowerment.
