Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur celebrated its 31st Founders’ Week and 3rd Annual Day

Today, on 4 th Dec 2018, ASI Janakraj & Constable Kulwinder Singh,Traffic Education Cell, SAS Nagar, Mohali visited Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur and conducted a very informative session for the students & the staff.They created awareness on road safety & traffic rules among the children & the role it plays in
reducing the number of accidents on roads. They expressed the concern over the increasing filth in the city, they made the students aware about the importance of cleanliness in response to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
Student were also made aware about the ill effects of alcohol & drugs,& the risk factors associated with them.
It was a wonderful experience for the students as they were sensitized about the road safety rules & the cleanliness drive.Such programmes should be organized in schools often so as to prepare our youth for a better India.
